  • Michael Trigilio Chief Executive Officer

    Mike was named Chief Executive Officer of HouseWorks in April 2021 with more than 25 years’ operating experience in the home care industry. A proven operations-focused leader with client and Caregiver well-being always top of mind, he brings a data-driven approach to home care. Previously, Mike served as CEO of Associated Home Care and grew it from three clients to more than 20,000, transforming it into one of the largest home care companies in Massachusetts prior to its sale in 2016. In 2016, Trigilio became President of the Personal Care division at Amedisys, overseeing the operations, acquisitions, and strategic direction of its Personal Care division from 2016-2020.

    Previously, Mike founded Health and Home Care Training Center, a caregiver training center in Massachusetts, and Elder Home Options, a residential housing model that kept seniors in their community and partnered with payors to stabilize clients’ housing, services and long term care management.

    Mike’s two decades of experience in concierge private home care, geriatric care management, Medicaid delivery at scale, and technology adaptation positions him to expand HouseWorks into a premier home-care, technology-driven company.  He is committed to advancing the role of private-pay home care to allow clients age in the comfort of their homes and continuing to develop world-class professional Caregivers.

    He is on the Board of Directors of CHAP, an independent, nonprofit accrediting body for home and community-based health care organizations.

    Mike earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Salem State University.

    Andrea Cohen Founder

    Andrea has spent over 20 years as a social entrepreneur dedicated to transforming the way care is delivered to seniors at home. As HouseWorks Founder and former CEO, her vision crystalized when she took care of both her parents and made an unwavering commitment to redefine what it means to age. As its core purpose, HouseWorks returns a sense of control to adult children and their parents. This is how Andrea and her team built one of the largest, independent private home care companies in the country.

    A visionary leader, Andrea is committed to leveraging her business accomplishments to create a powerful force for bringing about social change. She sits on the Board of The Commonwealth Institute, the Schwartz Center Leadership Council, and the Caregiver Action Network—the nation’s leading caregiver organization – and serves as an appointee to the Massachusetts Women Forum.

    Andrea served as an at-large delegate to the White House Conference on Aging in 2005 and influenced national policies that impact all seniors and family caregivers. Always thinking out-of-the box, she is widely recognized for her innovation in senior care, recently being appointed to the Community Care Corp, a new, federal initiative that mobilizes volunteers to help older adults across the nation age in place.

    Andrea received her MSW of from Boston College and completed her Bachelor’s at Ithaca College in upstate New York.

  • Nancy Gillette Chief Growth Officer

    Nancy brings more than 20 years of experience in the home care and post-acute fields growing revenue, building strategic relationships and diversifying product offerings. As Chief Growth Officer at HouseWorks, she will oversee all sales, marketing, business development and customer success aspects, that can be easily scaled into new markets.

    Before joining HouseWorks, Nancy served as the Chief Revenue Officer at the Avery Group, a company devoted to healthy, independent living and whose portfolio included eight home care franchises and a telehealth company. Prior to the Avery Group, Nancy spent more than eight years as Chief Revenue Officer at Team Select Home Care in Phoenix, Arizona where she was instrumental in growing the company across seven states, while launching five specialized business lines.

    Nancy was appointed to the committee for the Institute for Healthcare Improvement State Action on Avoidable Rehospitalizations (STAAR) Initiative. She earned a Masters in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Massachusetts – Lowell.

  • Tony Wolk Executive Vice President of Development

    Tony brings more than 25 years of business, transactional, corporate development and legal experience to HouseWorks. Most recently, Tony was part of the executive leadership team at Universal American Corp., a publicly traded health insurance and health services company focused on the senior market, which was sold to WellCare Health Plans in April 2017.

    Throughout his career, Tony has executed more than 25 mergers and acquisitions with aggregate values in excess of $6 billion, including the successful sales of two public companies where he served as a key member of the executive leadership team.

    Tony is a graduate of Lehigh University and New York University School of Law (cum laude) and was a 2006 recipient of the New Jersey BIZ Forty Under 40 Award.

    Scott Muir Vice President of Client Services

    Scott joined HouseWorks with three decades of executive experience leading transformational change in a variety of corporate settings. He has a strong track record of creating innovative solutions leveraging opportunities for organizational growth and operational integration.

    Prior to HouseWorks, Scott served as an executive at a private pay home care agency north of Boston. While there, he provided strategic planning, implementation support, and project management to advance their mission and successfully promote business growth.

    Driven by outcomes, quality and results, Scott offers a valuable perspective in various healthcare environments. Scott is mission-focused on helping colleagues and most importantly, HouseWorks’ clients, navigate the everchanging home care landscape.

  • Lori Fitzgerald Vice President, Senior Housing Partnerships

    Lori is Vice President of Senior Housing Partnerships. She focuses on clients’ needs and the goals of our Senior Living Partners, so HouseWorks can provide excellent Caregiver services to our clients. Lori is a  healthcare professional with more than 20 years’ experience. She earned her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Tufts University and is an Evergreen Certified Dementia Care Specialist. She has worked as an Occupational Therapist with the adult and geriatric population for the majority of her career, including time in a senior living community and in home health. She also worked in a senior living community as a Case Manager. Most recently, Lori was the HouseWorks Director of Clinical Services, providing case management and customer service to our Hebrew Senior Life partners.

  • Abigale Carlsen Executive Director, HouseWorks Newton

    Abigale is Executive Director of HouseWorks’ Newton office. She oversees our scheduling team, case management team, Caregiver engagement team and field staff. Working fluidly between these teams, she provides a seamless stem of communication from the office into the field, thus confidently ensuring HouseWorks’ efficiency in providing exceptional home care. Abigale has more than a decade of home care experience.  Starting as a scheduler at Associated Home Care, she quickly advanced her career working as a Scheduling Resource Manager. Most recently Abigale worked as a Home Care Manager at Guardian Angel Senior Service, providing quality home care services throughout the greater Merrimack Valley.

    Born and raised in the Boston area, Abigale takes pride in providing quality services to her own neighboring areas. She believes every Caregiver sent into a client’s home should be a Caregiver she would feel comfortable taking care of her own loved ones.
