Mike was named Chief Executive Officer of HouseWorks in April 2021 with more than 25 years’ operating experience in the home care industry. A proven operations-focused leader with client and Caregiver well-being always top of mind, he brings a data-driven approach to home care. Previously, Mike served as CEO of Associated Home Care and grew it from three clients to more than 20,000, transforming it into one of the largest home care companies in Massachusetts prior to its sale in 2016. In 2016, Trigilio became President of the Personal Care division at Amedisys, overseeing the operations, acquisitions, and strategic direction of its Personal Care division from 2016-2020.
Previously, Mike founded Health and Home Care Training Center, a caregiver training center in Massachusetts, and Elder Home Options, a residential housing model that kept seniors in their community and partnered with payors to stabilize clients’ housing, services and long term care management.
Mike’s two decades of experience in concierge private home care, geriatric care management, Medicaid delivery at scale, and technology adaptation positions him to expand HouseWorks into a premier home-care, technology-driven company. He is committed to advancing the role of private-pay home care to allow clients age in the comfort of their homes and continuing to develop world-class professional Caregivers.
He is on the Board of Directors of CHAP, an independent, nonprofit accrediting body for home and community-based health care organizations.
Mike earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Salem State University.
Sharon is the Chief People Officer for the HouseWorks family of companies. She has more than 15 years of experience. Prior to HouseWorks, Sharon served as Human Resource Director for Encompass Health, an inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Western Massachusetts, and for Amedisys. She is a graduate of Salem State University with a bachelor’s degree and concentration in Human Resources and a master’s degree from Emmanuel College, with a focus in Human Resources. In her spare time, Sharon enjoys traveling.
Doug is the Chief Financial Officer at HouseWorks. He has an extensive background within the home care industry and brings a tremendous amount of financial operating knowledge. Prior to joining HouseWorks, Doug served as the CFO of Greater Lynn Senior Services – a Massachusetts based Aging Services Access Point – and previously as the CFO of Associated Home Care and VP of Finance for the Amedisys Personal Care division. Doug received his BS in Accounting and Finance from Indiana University’ Kelly School of Business. Doug is also a CPA, CGMA, and CFP®.
Jon is the Director of FP&A/M&A for HouseWorks. He has more than 10 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and middle-marketing investing. Prior to joining HouseWorks, Jon worked at two middle-market private equity firms, where he focused on high-growth merger and acquisition opportunities. He started his career at Wells Fargo Securities’ Investment Banking Division, focusing on M&A advisory services.
Jon is a graduate of the University of San Francisco with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He also studied Financial Analysis at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Jon is the Director of Finance at HouseWorks. He has spent more than three decades in the healthcare industry serving in Private Home Care and Certified Home Health as Controller and Chief Financial Officer. Jon has directed service expansion and geographic growth through acquisitions and Implemented cost savings programs that increased profitability and improved employee retention.
He is an experienced manager of Finance Operations, Contracts, Risk Management and Employee Benefit Programs. For more than 20 years, Jon has served on a state trade association board as both a member and in a leadership capacity.
Jon is a graduate of Babson College with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
Nancy is Vice President of Operations for HouseWorks. She has more than 25 years of experience in Home Health Care. Previously, Nancy worked for Associated Home Care for more than 20 years as Vice President of Operations and 4 years with Amedisys as a Sr. Vice President of Operations. In both these roles, Nancy was responsible for providing strong leadership across all departments and locations of the companies while managing overall operations, corporate strategy, and development. Nancy was an instrumental driver of growth for both companies and is extraordinary skilled in client and employee relations. Nancy currently resides in Topsfield, MA and actively supports numerous elder associations and charities and enjoys spending time with her family.
Lori is Vice President of Senior Housing Partnerships. She focuses on clients’ needs and the goals of our Senior Living Partners, so HouseWorks can provide excellent Caregiver services to our clients. Lori is a healthcare professional with more than 20 years’ experience. She earned her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Tufts University and is an Evergreen Certified Dementia Care Specialist. She has worked as an Occupational Therapist with the adult and geriatric population for the majority of her career, including time in a senior living community and in home health. She also worked in a senior living community as a Case Manager. Most recently, Lori was the HouseWorks Director of Clinical Services, providing case management and customer service to our Hebrew Senior Life partners.
Justin is the Director of Strategic Initiatives. In his role at HouseWorks, Justin ensures newly acquired companies are seamlessly integrated into the HouseWorks family of companies, with minimal disruption to clients and Caregivers. He also oversees strategy and implementation for sales, marketing and project management.
Prior to HouseWorks, Justin served as National Director for an international non-profit organization helping facilitate worldwide initiatives and operations. He began his health care career at Amedisys, where he served in several roles with increasing areas of responsibility.
Justin is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology.
Benjamin has been in the personal care industry for over a decade and brings deep operational experience to the HouseWorks team. With a passion for providing high quality care to clients, Benjamin has a history of building and enabling his teams to provide excellent care coordination and customer service. Most recently, he served as the Director of Home Care for Anodyne Homemaking Services and has also previously worked with well-known organizations including Bayada, Mayo Clinic and Amedisys. In his personal time, you will find Benjamin either hiking up a mountain or in his woodshop.
Abigale has more than a decade of home care experience. Starting as a scheduler at Associated Home Care, she quickly advanced her career working as a Scheduling Resource Manager. Most recently Abigale worked as a Home Care Manager at Guardian Angel Senior Services. She believes every Caregiver sent into a client’s home should be a Caregiver she would feel comfortable taking care of her own loved ones.
Myles has more than a decade of experience in the Home Health Care industry. Prior to joining HouseWorks, Myles worked for BAYADA Home Health Care in Greater Boston, where he spent the last 10 years of his career, most recently serving as Director of Home Health Care. During his tenure at BAYADA, he excelled at talent management and Caregiver retention.
Rona is the Director of Care Delivery at HouseWorks. With over ten years of experience in the Home Health Care, six of which have been spent with HouseWorks, Rona’s extensive operational knowledge is an exceptional asset. Prior to her current role, she managed the scheduling department and established a well-rounded, successful team. Currently, Rona spearheads and oversees the day-to-day operations for our Waltham office, ensuring efficiency and smooth workflow. She streamlines service roadmaps, sets goals and guidelines, manages budget and schedules, coordinates with Case Managers and other departments, as well as develops strategies to optimize operations. She leads and encourages her team to reach goals with pride while following the organization’s processes and policies. Rona enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her loved ones.
